Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of Saevel (the "Service") operated by Spark Digital Inc ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access at sara@sparkdigitalinc.com.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to: violate any law, infringe on rights of others, transmit malware, interfere with other users' access, or attempt to reverse engineer the Service. Bookkeeping data you upload must be data you have the legal right to process.

3. Your Data

You own all financial data you upload or that Saevel imports on your behalf (bank transactions, receipts, invoices, etc.). We process this data solely to provide the Service. We never sell your data and never share it with third parties except where required to operate integrations you explicitly connect (Quiltt, QuickBooks, Xero, HighLevel, etc.).

4. AI Features

Saevel uses AI (Anthropic Claude) for transaction categorization, receipt OCR, invoice OCR, and audit suggestions. AI output is informational only and must be reviewed before being relied upon for tax filing or financial reporting. We do not warrant accuracy and you remain responsible for the accuracy of your books.

5. Subscription & Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually. You may cancel at any time; no refund is issued for the partial billing cycle in progress. Changing plans pro-rates immediately.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms, with notice where practicable. On termination, you may export your data for 90 days; after that, data is permanently deleted.

7. Disclaimer

Saevel is not a tax preparer, CPA, or attorney. The Service does not constitute tax, accounting, or legal advice. Engage a qualified professional for filing and compliance decisions.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Saevel's aggregate liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced via email or in-app notice with at least 30 days before they take effect.
